Consultancy and Training

For a long period of time considered secondary, the psychological well-being of individuals is now a major public health issue in France, particularly in the wake of the health crisis, and a key challenge for development policies, particularly in Africa and the Middle East.

In this context, I offer the following services:

Consultancy

The services I offer cover the entire cycle of mental health projects deployed in France or abroad, by institutional or civil society organisations, and range from upstream reflection to final evaluation, including diagnosis during the life of the project.

The principles underlying these interventions are guided by :
  • the well-being, integrity, empowerment and autonomy of people ;
  • the ability of organizations to assess what they can and cannot do, and decide what falls within their scope of intervention;
  • ensuring that the design of activities does not create additional stress for staff or beneficiaries (Do no harm principle), and does not raise expectations if there is no referral possible;
  • protecting staff well-being.

Some examples of consultancy services:

Public presentations are also available on request.

A few examples of my training services:
  • “Mental health and stress management”, design and presentation to the Monaco International Cooperation Direction (2023).
  • “Mental health and development”, design and presentation to the Agence Française de Développement (2022)
  • “Psychosocial programmes as a basis for development”, design and presentation at Saint-Joseph University in Beirut (2019)
  • “Psychosocial treatment of psychological trauma”: design and presentations at the Université Paris XIII, the Institute of International Humanitarian Studies of Aix en Provence, and at the Center for International Studies and Research (CERDI) – Clermont-Ferrand (2011 to 2013).
